About Swarna Mandapa's Sacred History.

Welcome to Swarna Mandapa. This is a unique property unlike any other rental home available in Bali. It is certainly not a white Mediterranean box with a postage sized swimming pool. Swarna Manada is where Tradition meets Luxury

Swarna Mandapa began life as two distinct buildings: a modest village home and a revered spiritual hall once owned by a Balinese high priest. For 24 years, the priest taught traditional religion here, guiding students in the sacred art of stone carving — a deeply spiritual practice used to express and understand the teachings of Balinese religion. Day and night, for nearly a quarter of a century, the sound of chisels echoed through the halls as students shaped devotion into stone.

The original building has been rebuilt from the ground up, with new hi end designer fit out, however we retained tons of the stone carved walls and doors and reused them in the rebuild which makes the property so unique and offers a memorable experience.

  • When the current owner took custodianship of the property, they sought to preserve its soul while unveiling its beauty. Every stone, carving, and curve of the original structure was carefully dismantled and lovingly restored, with intricate details faithfully reassembled in the new design. Over two years, the transformation took form — blending traditional Indonesian craftsmanship with the sophistication of modern architecture. The result is nothing short of breathtaking: a white and gold palace that glows with history, artistry, and indulgence.

Today, Swarna Mandapa stands as a living tribute to Bali's artistic legacy — a place where the echoes of devotion meet the comforts of contemporary living, and every corner whispers stories of reverence and beauty.
